The American Academy of Optometric Medicine and Surgery (AAOMS) was founded in 2023 by 12 of the leading optometrists across the United States who perform laser procedures, injections, and surgical procedures. We recognize excellence demonstrated through patient care outcomes and performing procedures beyond entry level requirements.

Fellowship Qualifications
Fellowship requires completion of an approved training course, documented procedures on actual patients, peer recommendations, and successful passage of an oral examination.
